We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to support both financial controllership and financial planning & analysis functions. The role will be responsible for ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and providing actionable financial insights to support business decision making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, sound accounting knowledge, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial discipline and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Controllership
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Review and monitor general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and expense management processes.
• Strengthen and monitor internal financial controls and process improvements.
• Support statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory filings.
• Manage documentation and compliance related to GST, TDS, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain financial data integrity across ERP/accounting systems.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis
• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial dashboards.
• Conduct variance analysis between budget vs actuals and identify key business drivers.
• Develop financial models to support strategic planning, pricing, and investment decisions.
• Partner with business teams to track cost efficiency and revenue performance.
• Provide actionable insights to support management decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow projections and working capital management.
3. Business Finance Support
• Work closely with department heads to track budget utilization and financial performance.
• Support financial evaluation of new initiatives, projects, and vendor engagements.
• Assist leadership in identifying cost optimization opportunities.
• Provide financial inputs for board or leadership review meetings.
